Large-scale On-site production

Air Separation Unit (ASU):

It compresses, liquefies and distills the air to separate it into its different components: nitrogen, oxygen and noble gases (argon, neon, krypton and xenon).

SMR (Steam Methane Reformer)

Produces hydrogen and carbon monoxide through steam reforming of methane. Hydrogen is commonly used in the oil refining process for hydrodesulfurization and to convert heavy crude oil into cleaner transportation fuels.

Our Air Separation Units (ASU) and SMRs are designed and built using the Group's latest technologies, providing high energy efficiency and high reliability.

Cogeneration

It consists of the simultaneous and efficient production of electricity and steam, generally through the consumption of natural gas and water. Electricity is typically supplied to the local grid and industry, while steam is required for certain industrial processes. Cogeneration is an environmentally virtuous process, as it avoids energy losses by harnessing the heat emitted during electricity production to produce steam.
